The X3 has the opportunity to refresh the mid-tier touchscreen products for the 2020 season to deliver increased vessel integration at price points that will match customer’s budgets and expectations. With affordable networking and industry leading connectivity features, the X3 Series will become the go to units for cruisers of all types including offshore and near coastal cruisers.
This next generation will come in 7, 9 and 12 inch sizes.
The initial prompt was a 2 week sprint to design around the 7 inch stack-up and then scale the design. Due to unique mechanical challenges; we pivoted to where I modeled each SKU and worked with all 3 mechanical engineers throughout the development.
