Architecture Study
We extensively explored different assembly methods, screen sizes and lens masking dimensions to compare the tradeoffs on bezel proportions.
Since three out of the five SKUs would have a ceramic bezel inlay, we prioritized that material’s manufacturing constraints, as well as usable graphic area, to find the ideal dimensions.
The main housing was iterated on to create the foundation of the MARQ lineup. The design had to embody the modern aesthetic while being flexible enough to work amongst the different bezel designs.
